Civic Media's News/Talk WAUK 540 AM and 100.3 FM has expanded its reach across Milwaukee County with the addition of a new FM translator. The new signal, W262CJ at 100.3 FM, officially launched on October 6 and now provides stronger coverage throughout the city of Milwaukee.

Alongside the signal expansion, WAUK has introduced a new weekday morning show, All News All Morning, tailored specifically for Milwaukee commuters. Hosted by veteran broadcaster Dan Hanni, the program delivers a news cycle every 20 minutes, featuring local news, traffic, sports, and weather updates to fit the average Milwaukee commute.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of your morning routine and drive into work," said Hanni. "We'll start the day with CBS News, and then locally with our news director Stuart J. Wattles. Lesley Lotto covers Wisconsin with state news from the Civic Media State News Desk, Mike Clemens handles sports, traffic comes from Bonnie Green, and our staff meteorologist provides weather updates. We'll also feature conversations with local news-makers in the Milwaukee area."

WAUK Regional President and General Manager Chris Moreau said the new format focuses on delivering useful, time-efficient information. "This is a no-frills approach to delivering what people look for in the morning - news and information they can use to start the day without wading through padding, filler, fluff, and partisan opinion," said Moreau. "And they can hear it all within the average commute time in Milwaukee."
