The Media Rating Council (MRC) has revoked accreditation for Nielsen Audio's diary ratings service in seven additional markets, part of its most recent round of audit decisions covering July through September 2025.
According to the MRC's October 16 report, accreditation was withdrawn for the following markets: Bryan-College Station, TX; Hudson Valley, NY; Killeen-Temple, TX; Odessa-Midland, TX; Portsmouth-Dover-Rochester, NH; Reno, NV; and Trenton, NJ.
Accreditation was maintained for other currently approved Nielsen Audio diary markets as reported in the company's Radio Market Reports (RMR), TAPSCAN Web, and CSAR systems.
The MRC's quarterly update also drew national attention for unrelated actions involving digital media companies, including the revocation of Meta's accreditation and the denial of accreditation to Snap.
A complete list of accredited and non-accredited services is available on the Media Rating Council's website.
