Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) is mourning the loss of Frank Mull, the organization's first Executive Director, who passed away this week. Mull led CRB from 1990 to 1993, guiding the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) through an era of expansion and helping establish it as the premier event in country radio and music.

During his tenure, Mull oversaw CRS's evolution from a small gathering of radio and label executives into an annual conference attracting thousands of broadcasters, artists, and industry leaders. His vision and collaborative spirit set the tone for what would become the industry's leading forum for professional development, networking, and innovation.

"The entire CRB family is saddened to hear of Frank Mull's recent passing," said current CRB/CRS Executive Director RJ Curtis. "Every subsequent Executive Director has stood on the shoulders of Frank Mull. On behalf of our organization's staff and board members, we send our deepest condolences to Frank's friends and family members."

Before joining CRB, Mull built a distinguished career in broadcasting and management, known for his leadership, foresight, and ability to unite people across the industry. His influence extended well beyond his years of service, shaping generations of country radio professionals.
