Connecticut Public is diving back into the world of Gilmore Girls with the launch of a new three-part narrative podcast, Generation Gilmore Girls, premiered December 2) The series explores why the acclaimed TV drama continues to influence culture 25 years after its debut.

The timing follows a renewed wave of interest in the show: Lauren Graham recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, fans continue to recreate the fictional town of Stars Hollow across the country, and Graham and co-star Alexis Bledel reunited at the Emmys to mark the show's milestone anniversary.

Hosted by Connecticut native and audio journalist Chloe Wynne, the podcast examines how Gilmore Girls shaped the actors who brought the story to life, the dedicated fan community that grew around it, and the real state of Connecticut, where the show is set. Wynne currently produces The Wheelhouse and Where We Live at Connecticut Public and previously worked on the investigative series Admissible: Shreds of Evidence.

Generation Gilmore Girls releases new episodes on December 2, 9 and 16. The series is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other major podcast platforms.
