Veteran radio programmer Cat Thomas has joined SonicTrek.ai in the newly created role of Director of Marketing & AI Affiliate/Talent Acquisitions, effective immediately. In his new position, Thomas will work closely with Partner and Chief Revenue Officer Mike Agovino to identify and onboard new affiliate partnerships.

Thomas will also collaborate with Partner and CEO Joel Denver and Director of Programming Dennis Constantine on localized marketing initiatives, station format strategies, and the recruitment of new AI hosts.

Denver praised the addition, citing Thomas' more than 30 years of programming and marketing experience across formats including Top 40, Hot AC, AC, Classic Hits, and Country. He said Thomas brings a deep portfolio of ideas and industry relationships that will help expand SonicTrek.ai's affiliate base and AI-host offerings while strengthening localized content strategies.

Agovino added that Thomas is "a true pro and innovative force," noting that the company's growing team continues to broaden its expertise as SonicTrek.ai expands.

Constantine said Thomas' background aligns with SonicTrek.ai's mission to revitalize radio by blending established programming principles with modern technology. He added that Thomas' experience shaping successful formats and connecting with audiences will support the company's forward-looking vision.

Thomas said the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and programming was a key draw, noting that AI's rapid growth presents an opportunity for programmers to integrate new tools into local brands, talent development, and content creation while staying competitive in today's media landscape.
