Audioboom has entered into a multi-year commercial and hosting partnership with Crooked Media, expanding distribution and advertising capabilities across Crooked's podcast portfolio.
Under the agreement, Audioboom will provide hosting, global distribution, and network advertising sales for Crooked Media's shows. Audioboom will also hold host-read advertising rights for Pod Save the UK, creating a new commercial opportunity in the UK market, while Crooked's in-house sales team will retain host-read ad rights for the rest of its lineup.
The partnership is effective immediately and runs through the 2026 U.S. midterm elections and the 2028 presidential election. Both companies say the deal unlocks new premium advertising inventory across audio and video formats, with Crooked Media gaining access to Audioboom's Showcase marketplace, which connects more than 2,000 brands and international sales partners.
"Crooked has always focused on building shows with loyal, highly engaged audiences and partners who respect that relationship," said Giancarlo Bizzarro, Vice President of Sales at Crooked Media, noting that the agreement strengthens global reach and creates new monetization opportunities, particularly for the network's international slate.
Founded in 2017 by former Obama administration staffers Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, and Tommy Vietor, Crooked Media operates more than 40 podcasts and digital series, including Pod Save America, Lovett or Leave It, and Pod Save The World. The network reports more than 25 million monthly downloads and has earned over 80 awards and nominations, including Webby Awards and a Peabody nomination.
"Crooked Media has built one of the most influential podcast portfolios in modern political media," said Brendan Regan, Chief Content Officer at Audioboom. He added that the partnership aligns with a shared focus on creator-led networks supported by scalable distribution and monetization infrastructure.
