The Radio Vendor Alliance (RVA) will hold its first-ever seminar, "The Radio Station of the Future: CRS Pre-Show Seminar," on Tuesday, March 17, in Nashville, immediately ahead of the 2026 Country Radio Seminar (CRS).
The half-day event, scheduled from 1:45-5pm with breaks, will be moderated by Mike McVay, recently named Senior Strategic Advisor to the RVA, and Tracy Johnson, President of Tracy Johnson Media Group.
According to the RVA, the seminar will focus on issues shaping the future of radio broadcasting, including emerging technologies, audience engagement strategies, and new approaches to content delivery, with attention to the role of artificial intelligence across multiple platforms. The session is aimed at station owners, programmers, and other industry decision-makers seeking to position their operations for long-term sustainability.
McVay said the seminar is designed to foster practical discussion about how radio can evolve as listener habits and technologies continue to change.
CRS, now in its 57th year, remains a major annual gathering for country music and radio professionals. The 2026 conference will run March 18-20 in Nashville.
General registration for CRS 2026 is priced at $698, with limited single-day passes available for $349. Registration details are available through Country Radio Seminar.
