TuneIn has announced a collaboration with Nissan to bring its catalog of radio stations and podcasts to select Nissan and INFINITI vehicles in the United States. Under the agreement, TuneIn will be integrated into vehicles equipped with Google built-in, giving drivers access to live sports, breaking news, curated music, podcasts and tens of thousands of radio stations.
TuneIn CEO Rich Stern said the partnership is designed to make audio access faster and simpler for drivers, reducing friction while enabling safer listening through built-in controls and voice commands.
Key features for Nissan and INFINITI drivers include live play-by-play from major professional sports leagues and collegiate conferences, sports talk programming, curated music, and podcasts across a wide range of interests. The integration also supports voice activation and one-touch driver controls, powered by TuneIn's App Driver Distraction Management System.
The announcement follows TuneIn's recent acquisition by Stingray, a move that expands Stingray's automotive footprint and supports the rollout of branded in-vehicle audio experiences.
TuneIn is currently available across more than 200 connected devices and 14 automotive brands worldwide.
