iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God's The Black Effect Podcast Network have announced the launch of a new podcast hosted by entertainment executive Amber Grimes. Entitled "If You Knew Better," the series will focus on growth, reinvention, setbacks and strategies for personal and professional development.

Grimes joins The Black Effect Podcast Network, which centers on amplifying Black voices across culture, business and entertainment. "The Black Effect is on a mission to amplify the voices of Black women, and I'm so honored to be one of the voices they believe in," Grimes said.

Dollie S. Bishop, President of The Black Effect Podcast Network, said the show reflects the company's broader mission. "'If You Knew Better' embodies our commitment to creating content that not only inspires but equips our listeners with the tools and information they need to grow and evolve with intention," Bishop said.

Grimes said she created the podcast to address the lack of mentorship and candid conversations many people face during major life and career transitions. The show will feature both solo episodes and guest interviews, drawing lessons from lived experiences and translating them into practical advice.

A college dropout turned executive leader, Grimes rose to become Executive Vice President and General Manager of Love Renaissance (LVRN), where she oversees daily operations, marketing strategy and revenue generation. Under her leadership, the label's roster - including Summer Walker and 6Lack - has expanded its global presence and cultural reach.

Beyond her business accomplishments, Grimes has been an advocate for diversity and inclusion within the music industry, promoting equitable opportunities and advancing Black women in executive leadership roles.

On "If You Knew Better," Grimes will speak with artists, creatives and cultural influencers about pivotal career and life moments, sharing insights designed to help listeners navigate challenges more strategically.

"If You Knew Better with Amber Grimes" will be available on the iHeartRadio app and major podcast platforms.
