MaxxKonnect has named veteran broadcaster Dave Supplee as Development and Support Engineer, adding more than four decades of industry experience to the company's engineering team. Supplee spent 26 years with Cumulus Media, most recently serving as Regional Engineer for the Northeast.
During his tenure with Cumulus, he oversaw major technical initiatives including studio builds, transmitter relocations, and complex infrastructure projects. Among those efforts was the relocation and diplexing of WMAL-AM and WSPZ-AM in Washington, DC.
His career has included work in engineering, operations, and management, along with experience on-air. Supplee also worked closely with the Cumulus FCC regulatory team, coordinating technical filings and compliance efforts.
MaxxKonnect President and CEO Josh Bohn said Supplee brings extensive knowledge and technical discipline to the company's engineering group. Bohn noted that Supplee served as his chief engineer early in his broadcasting career and described him as a strong addition to the team.
Supplee said MaxxKonnect's focus on practical tools for broadcasters drew him to the role. He said he looks forward to helping develop solutions designed to support stations and engineers across the industry.
