The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) is seeking experienced journalists to volunteer as judges for the 2026 Edward R. Murrow Awards, citing an urgent need for additional evaluators.
RTDNA says it is currently short on volunteers to review entries in television, radio and Spanish-language categories. Judges play a key role in the annual awards program, which honors outstanding achievements in broadcast and digital journalism from news organizations across the United States.
According to the association, volunteer judges help ensure that the strongest reporting and storytelling in the industry receive proper recognition through the Murrow Awards, widely regarded as one of the most prestigious honors in electronic journalism.
RTDNA is asking qualified journalists interested in serving as judges to submit a volunteer form by Friday, March 13. Questions about volunteering can be directed to the organization at awards@rtdna.org.
