Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW) has extended the application deadline for its third annual "Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Country Radio" Mentorship Program, presented in partnership with Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB).
Originally set to close earlier, the deadline has been pushed to April 30, 2026, following strong interest and demand from applicants seeking to participate in the competitive initiative.
Now in its third year, the program continues to build on the collaboration between MIW and CRB, the organization behind the Country Radio Seminar (CRS). The groups have also renewed their partnership through a new multi-year agreement aimed at expanding opportunities for women working in country radio.
The year-long mentorship program selects one woman currently employed full-time at a U.S. country radio station with at least five years of industry experience. The chosen mentee will receive personalized guidance from industry leaders, along with strategic introductions and professional development opportunities designed to support career advancement and leadership growth within the format.
As part of the program, the selected participant will attend the 2027 Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, offering additional networking and industry exposure.
Applications for the program are open through April 30.
