Chelsea Handler Launches Dear Chelsea Network

Chelsea Handler and iHeartPodcasts are expanding their podcast partnership with the launch of the Dear Chelsea Network, a new multi-year venture that will feature Handler's hit podcast Dear Chelsea alongside several new original shows.

The first new title on the network, You're the Problem ... with Yamaneika, debuts July 15. Hosted by comedian Yamaneika Saunders, the weekly podcast will tackle pop culture, current events, politics and other trending topics with Saunders' signature comedic style. Longtime friend and producer Tyree Rush will join the show, which also invites listener participation.

The Dear Chelsea Network builds on the success of Dear Chelsea, which launched in April 2021. The show earned a Webby Award in 2022, received a GRAMMY nomination and was recently selected by Netflix as part of the streamer's inaugural licensed video podcast lineup with iHeartMedia.

"When I started Dear Chelsea, I wanted to give people access to me and build a place where people could come for honest advice, real conversation and a lot of laughter," Handler said. "Building that community into a network feels incredibly meaningful, especially because I get to launch it with someone I know, love and believe in as much as Yamaneika."

Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts, said the network reflects Handler's growing influence in the podcasting space. "Chelsea has become an incredibly influential voice in the podcasting space with her unique ability to create community among her listeners," Pearson said. "We're excited to expand that audience with the Dear Chelsea Network and welcome Yamaneika's new show."

Saunders said she is eager to join the new venture. "I'm so excited to be a part of the Dear Chelsea Network family, and for the world to listen to You're the Problem ... with Yamaneika," she said. "I love running my mouth, joking around and telling it like it is ... cause I'm not the problem, YOU ARE."

Handler will serve as executive producer for You're the Problem ... with Yamaneika and all future Dear Chelsea Network programming. All shows will be distributed by iHeartPodcasts and available on the iHeartRadio app and other major podcast platforms.
