Aiir has added automatic music log scheduling and exporting to Aiir Scheduler, its web-based music scheduling platform, allowing radio stations to generate and deliver music logs to their playout systems without daily staff intervention.
The new functionality enables stations to automatically create and export as many as 30 days of music logs at once. Stations can establish recurring schedules using their existing programming rules and music categories, while making changes to those settings as needed.
Aiir said the feature is designed to reduce the repetitive work traditionally associated with daily music scheduling and make it easier for broadcasters to launch additional stations or brand extensions without adding scheduling personnel.
Logs can be exported to multiple radio automation platforms, including PlayoutONE, Zetta, WideOrbit and ENCO DAD. Delivery options include direct API integration, Dropbox or the Aiir Connect application, which places log files into a designated folder for import by a station's automation system.
"As a software company, our goal has always been to make creating radio simple," said Aiir CEO Ricki Lee. "Music scheduling has always been one of the most important tasks for radio programmers, but it's traditionally been time-consuming and repetitive."
Lee said the automated scheduling and exporting capability gives stations of varying sizes the ability to add new services without requiring additional resources.
