Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) and Country Radio Seminar (CRS) have opened applications for the Lisa McKay Women in Radio Scholarship, which supports emerging female radio programmers by providing an opportunity to attend CRS 2027 in Nashville.
The scholarship honors the legacy of Lisa McKay, a longtime radio programmer and industry leader whose career helped inspire women pursuing careers in broadcasting.
Eligible applicants must be female college seniors studying broadcast communications who are involved in radio programming, or female radio professionals with one to three years of experience serving as Program Director, Assistant Program Director or Music Director. All applicants must be first-time CRS attendees.
Three recipients will be selected and recognized during CRS 2027, scheduled for March 17-19 in Nashville. Each scholarship package includes full registration to the seminar, round-trip airfare and accommodations at the Omni Nashville Hotel.
The annual Country Radio Seminar brings together professionals from the Country radio and music industries for three days of educational sessions, panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities. The event focuses on industry trends, programming strategies and professional development. Applications are being accepted through Thursday, October 22.
