Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) is accepting applications for the Rusty Walker Scholarship, which will provide one first-time attendee with an opportunity to participate in Country Radio Seminar (CRS) 2027, scheduled for March 17-19 in Nashville.

Established in 2012, the scholarship honors the late Rusty Walker, a former CRS board member, Country Radio Hall of Fame inductee, programmer, consultant and mentor. The program recognizes promising radio professionals and provides opportunities for professional development and networking within the country music industry.

The scholarship is open to full-time radio station employees who have never attended CRS. Applicants must complete an online application and submit an essay of no more than 500 words explaining why they should be selected.

The application deadline is Thursday, November 12.

The selected recipient will receive complimentary registration to CRS 2027, round-trip airfare to Nashville and hotel accommodations at the Omni Nashville Hotel. The scholarship winner will also be recognized during the seminar.

CRS 2027 will bring together country radio broadcasters, record label executives and other music industry professionals for three days of educational sessions, panel discussions, workshops and networking events.

The annual seminar focuses on programming, audience engagement, industry trends and professional development, providing attendees with opportunities to exchange ideas and strengthen relationships across the country radio and music industries.
