Audacy has flipped Hot AC WTDY-FM in Philadelphia to Country as "US 96.5," introducing a new destination for Country music listeners in the City of Brotherly Love. The format change took effect Monday, October 19, with the station broadcasting commercial-free through October 24.
The new US 96.5 features a mix of current Country hits and new releases from artists including Morgan Wallen, Ella Langley, Luke Combs and Jelly Roll.
"Country music has a special way of connecting people, and we are excited to bring a brand-new destination to this important market," said Audacy Country Format Vice President Tim Roberts. "Adding US 96.5 in Philadelphia expands our footprint and brings even more world-class entertainment to our listeners - it's a terrific addition to Audacy's strong station lineup in the city."
US 96.5 will introduce its regular weekday programming lineup on Monday, October 26, featuring "Katie and Company" from 10am-3pm, followed by "Coop" in afternoon drive from 3-7pm. Evening programming will feature "Rob and Holly" from 7-midnight, while "Mo and StyckMan" will handle overnight duties from midnight-5am.
Audacy said a new weekday morning show, scheduled to air from 5-10am, will be announced shortly.
