Southeastern Ohio Closes on WCVZ/Columbus

Southeastern Ohio Broadcasting Systems, headed by Hank Littick, has closed on its purchase of Christian Contemporary WCVZ-FM (92.7)/Columbus, OH (licensed to South Zanesville) from Christian Voice of Central Ohio for $2.2 million. SOBS began operating the station under a Local Marketing Agreement (LMA) on November 1.
Christian Voice, headed by Dan Baughman owns eight other stations in Ohio, Indiana and Alabama and recently announced a deal to purchase WRFD-AM in Columbus.
Greg Guy of Patrick Communications brokered the transaction.
