Pikes Peak Television Buys KRDO/Colorado Springs


Pikes Peak Television, a subsidiary of News-Press & Gazette Company, has agreed to purchase the assets of 1.6 kw News/Talk KRDO-FM (105.5) serving Colorado Springs, CO, from Optima Communications, Inc. for $2.5 million. The station's coverage also reaches Publeo, CO, with a city grade signal. Jody McCoy of Media Services Group's Colorado Springs office was the exclusive broker representing the seller in this transaction.
