DSN Radio Acquires KLTQ-FM/Bismarck ND

Guy Giuliano's DSN Radio LLC has agereed to acquire 100kW Sports KLTQ-FM (97.9)/Beulah, ND, from Todd Mohr's Synergy Broadcast Group of North Dakota. Terms were not disclosed. The deal will add a Class-A FM to DSN's Sports Radio outlet KDKT-AM, with a rimshot signal to the Bismarck market from Beulah.
DSN President Guy Giuliano said, "The new FM signal will offer KDKT further opportunities to grow and serve the communities of western North Dakota with local sports and news coverage."
KDKT carries national sports programming from CBS Sports Radio, with Dan Patrick in mornings, as well as heavy local coverage of regional college and prep sports. KLTQ has been simulcasting KDKT's sports format via an LMA since mid March.
