Twin Ports Radio Closes on Buy of Minnesota Duo

Twin Ports Radio has closed on its previously announced acquisition of two Minnesota outlets from Red Rock Radio Corp. Included in the deal were 5.4kW WWAX-FM (92.1)/Hermantown and 1kW KQDS-AM (1490)/Duluth. Twin Ports Radio is headed by Dan Hatfield and the purchase represents the company's first radio stations. Red Rock Radio is a Minnesota-based company headed by Kathy Lau and Shawn Skramstad. Kalil & Co. represented Red Rock Radio in this transaction, and Steve Moravec of Phoenix Media Group assisted Twin Ports Radio.
