Townsquare Media Acquires Eight in Pittsfield MA

Townsquare Media has agreed to purchase eight outlets in Massachusetts from Gamma Broadcasting and Capital Stock of Berkshire Broadcasting Co. in Pittsfield MA. Terms were not immediately disclosed. Included in the deal are WBEC-FM (95.9), WBEC-AM (1429), WUPE-AM (1110) and a FM translator (94.1) from Gamma Broadcasting and WUPE-FM (100.5), WNAW-AM 1230)), WSBS-AM (860) and a FM translator (103.3) from Berkshire. Kalil & Co. represented the seller in this transaction.
