Redrock Closes on Acquisition of KCDC/St. George

Redrock Broadcasting Inc. has closed on its previously announced acquisition of 7.7kW KUTQ-FM (formerly KCDC-FM) (102.3)/La Verkin, UT (covering St. George), from Cochise Broadcasting LLC. Cochise is a Wyoming-based company headed by Ted Tucker. The buyer, Redrock Broadcasting, is a Utah-based company headed by Craig Hanson. Redrock also owns KRQX-FM/Hurricane, UT. Its affiliated company Media Advisors owns KURR-FM/Hildale, UT. Kalil & Co., Inc. was the exclusive broker for the transaction
