Paul Gardner & his Elko Radio Company have purchased the 25kw Country KRJC-FM (95.3) from long-time owner Holiday Broadcasting of Salt Lake City for $300,000. The deal also includes 250W FM translator K255CE (98.9). However, it does not include the KRJC studio/office building. Elko, NV, is the largest city in any direction in over 220 miles, making it as the city's motto states: "the Heart of Northeast Nevada." It is located on Interstate 80 halfway between Sait Lake City, Utah and Reno, NV.
George Kimble of Kozacko Media Services brokered the transaction.
