Houston Christian Broadcasters Acquires KEJS-FM Lubbock

Houston Christian Broadcasters has agreed to acquire 50kW Tejano KEJS-FM (104.3)/Lubbock, TX, from Barton Broadcasting Company from $225,000. KEJS, a class C2 FM, is licensed to Brownfield, TX, puts a city grade signal into the Lubbock market. Houston Christian Broadcasters is headed by Bruce Munsterman and operates non-commercial radio stations in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. The seller is headed by Manwela Barton and it owns no other broadcast interests.
Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group served as the broker for this transaction.
