Monticello Media Closes on Acquisition of Virginia Stations

Monticello Media has closed its acquisition of Virginia radio stations 12kW WBRW-FM (105.3), 10kw WFNR-AM (710) & 0.2kW W278AJ (103.5)/Blacksburg, 0.82kW WNMX-FM (100.7)/Christianburg, 1.75kW WPSK-FM (107.1)/Pulaski, WRAD-AM (1460) & 5.8kW WWBU-FM (101.7)/Radford from Cumulus Media. These stations comprise the company's Blacksburg, VA cluster. Charlottesville, VA-based Monticello Media owns a group of six stations which serve its home market.
Eddie Esserman of the Southeastern office of Media Services Group served as the broker in the transaction.
