Gulf Coast Broadcasting Acquires Three in Panama City FL

Gulf Coast Broadcasting has agreed to acquire three stations in the Panama City, FL, DMA from Powell Broadcasting. Included in the deal are 50kW WASJ-FM (105.1), 50kW WRBA-FM (95.9) and 100kW WKNK-FM (103.5), all of which are currently listed as off the air. Powell Broadcasting is a wholly-owned unit of The Powell Group and also owns radio stations in Sioux City, IA.

Gulf Coast is a Florida-based company, headed by Samuel Rogatinsky, who is also the principal of Palm Beach Radio Group, which owns three stations there.

Kalil & Co. brokered the transaction.
