Stratton Radio Broadcasting Acquires New York Combo

Stratton Radio Broadcasting Co. headed by Timothy Stratton of Scottsdale, AZ, has agreed to purchase 0.045kW Classic Hits WYLF-AM (850) and its FM translator W230CZ (93.9 MHZ) in Penn Ya, NY, from MB Communications for $285,000. The station puts a fringe signal into Rochester. Stratton is an attorney with the Phoenix firm of Gust-Rosenfeld specializing in Public Finance and Tax Law. MB Communications is owned by Jeff Pearce, a consulting engineer, now based in Colorado.
George Kimble of Kozacko Media Services brokered the deal for the buyer.
