VCY America Inc. to Acquire KTUK-FM (88.5) Tucson

VCY America Inc. has agreed to acquire 1.5kW Christian CHR KTUK-FM (88.5 Family Life Radio) serving Tucson from Family Life Broadcasting Inc. Terms were not immediately disclosed. VCY America Inc. is a Wisconsin-based company headed by Jim Schneider and currently owns 25 full power radio stations, along with 15 translators. VCY also owns a full power television station in Milwaukee.

Family Life is an Arizona not-for-profit corporation headed by Evan Carlson and owns radio outlets in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Michigan, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.

Kalil & Co. Inc. brokered the transaction which is subjet to FCC approval.
