Eastlan Replaces Nielsen in Merced, Adds Williamsport

The radio ratings currency is changing in Merced, CA. Eastlan Ratings will become the new measurement provider beginning with the Spring, 2019 survey period. Eastlan has also added service to the Williamsport, PA, market.

"As has been the case since Eastlan was founded 20 years ago, we remain solely focused on helping the radio industry protect its revenue stream. We are certain this concentration is what allows our company to continually expand our influence," said Eastlan President/CEO Mike Gould.

He added, "Our agency partners are becoming increasingly reliant on Eastlan to help complete the radio picture nationally as in many areas the leading provider no longer offers service or is dependent on undersized samples. Much like Comscore's increasing influence in television measurement, we now live in a word where neither radio or nor television can be reliably bought using a single data provider."
