Saga Communications Q4 Net Revs Down 9.5% to $28.8M

Saga Communications reported fourth quarter net revenues fell 9.5% to $28.8 million from $31.7 million in 2019. Station operating expense decreased 8.3% to $21.1 million, while station operating income declined 13.3% to $9.1 million from $10.5 million. Operating income was down 8% to $4.99 million from $5.4 million. The company reported a net income of $2.3 million (38 cent per diluted share) as compared to $3.8 million (64 cents) in the year-ago period.
