680 The Fan/Atlanta Welcomes Home Chris Dimino

Dickey Broadcasting's WCNN-AM (Sports Radio 680 The Fan on 93.7 FM) Atlanta returns 20-year veteran talk talent Chris Dimino to the WCNN airwaves and "The Rude Awakening" morning show with Christopher Rude and Perry Laurentino from 6-9am. He began his new duties on March 17. Dimino previously worked in mornings at crosstown Sports WQXI-AM (790 The Zone) until last June, when he and two other hosts were ousted over a poor-taste bit.

President/GM David Dickey said, "It is great to have Chris return to the station where he started his very successful radio career. Chris has played a big role in the sports-talk arena, in Atlanta, and we look forward to partnering with Chris for many years to come."

Dimino added, "Really happy that 20 years after starting the radio part of my life at 680 The Fan I'm back here again. Personally and professionally, the ability to stay here in Atlanta and have this be the place to work and raise our daughters is everything my wife and I were hoping for. Thanks to everyone who had a part in making that our reality."
