iHeartMedia Tampa Bay announced today that Jack Harris has renewed for another three years with News Radio 970 WFLA as host of AM Tampa Bay. Jack has been in the market for more than 45 years. He first joined 970 WFLA in September of 1970 as the midday host and the stations production director. After a brief stint in Washington, D.C., he then came back to Tampa and spent two years on the Q-105 "Q-Zoo," then onto WFLA-FM which became the world famous Power Pig, and Jack was one of the three little pigs.

He has been the voice of Tampa International Airport for the past nearly three years and also the radio Play-by-Play voice of the Tampa Bay Storm Arena Football Team and the annual Outback Bowl.

"I've been mighty lucky to have had this much time on the air in this market," said Harris. "The people here, both colleagues and listeners and viewers, have been so terrific toward me over the years."

"Jack Harris is an icon in the Tampa Bay market," said Sam Nein, Market President, iHeartMedia Tampa Bay.
