KCYY/San Antonio Names Jaus as Morning Co-Host

Cox Media Group (CMG) San Antonio names J.R. Jaus as the new morning co-host on Country KCYY-FM (Y100) alongside Beth Chandler. Jaus previously was with co-owned WWKA-FM (K92.3)/Orlando. Jaus has been in radio for over a decade going back to his first gig at 19. He has TV credits as well, including Nickelodeon's "Victorious" with Ariana Grande and on "CSI Miami."
"JR's coming to Texas, and we welcome him to the CMG San Antonio team," said Operations Manager Jeff Garrison. "He is both entertaining and engaging with the audience, and we look forward to hearing him on Y100."
"I am very excited to be in a city that is so passionate about country music because it is a true passion of mine," added Jaus. "San Antonio, and Texas in general, is a place that I feel honored to be able to do country radio in. I look forward to connecting with this amazing community and being a part of people's lives every day.
