RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, September 15, 2016 |
Cox Media Group's Classic Hits WSRV-FM (97.1 The River) Atlanta is moving weeknight host English Nick to middays, effective September 12. He had handled nights since January of this year and previously served as weekend and fill-in host on The River for four years. Prior to joining CMG in 2011, Nick worked at other Atlanta rock stations including WNNX, 99X and 96 Rock.
Director of Branding and Programming Chris Eagan said, "Nick is a well-known name in the market who is loved by the River audience, and! I'm thrilled to bring him and his English accent (yes, it's real) to middays."
"Monday, September 12 is going to be a great day in Atlanta radio as I get to be part of the soundtrack for the River Workforce," added Nick. "I'm so excited to be part of the best classic rock crew in town, coming on after Steve Craig in the morning and setting it up for Kaedy Kiely in afternoons."
