Longtime KCRS/Midland Radio Hosts Retire

Longtime News/Talk KCRS-AM/Midland, TX, hosts Robert Hallmark and Kurt Verlei are set to retire. For the last 16 years, West Texans have began their day with "The Morning Drive" and its hosts. The program was started by Hallmark, followed by Kurt Verlei, who have worked together for 14 years. Hallmark, who has worked in several Texas and Arkansas markets came to KCRS in 1992. Verlei retired and sold an advertising firm before joining the show.
The show has the added bonus of being broadcast live every morning on the markets MyTV station. The Morning Drive will continue with new host. The duo's last show together will be January 4.
