Matt Cord Named WBEN/Philly Morning Co-Host

Adult Hits WBEN-FM (95.7 BEN FM)/Philadelphia names veteran personality Matt Cord as host the new BEN FM Morning Show with Matt & Kristen, weekdays from 6-9am. Cord is inbound from BEN-FM sister station WMMR-FM, where he was night host. Cord held down the night shift at WMMR for eleven years. He was also a member of the WMMR air staff from 1990 to 1998. He returned to WMMR in 2005 after spending seven years as afternoon host at WPLY-FM (Y100).

"Coming from WMMR, I know how important and powerful morning radio can be. Moving to mornings on BEN FM is a great opportunity for me to stay with Beasley Media Group and offer another great option for Philly morning radio listeners. I'm thrilled to work with Kristen, too. She's super talented. We're going to have a lot of fun," said Cord.
