Sandy Buttweiler Exits Middays at WDAY-AM/Fargo

Longtime Fargo talk host Sandy Buttweiler exits middays at News/Talk WDAY-AM to relocate to Minneapolis, reports the Fargo Forum. She's been a Fargo resident for 35 years, working at KFGO-AM from 1982-87, 1992-2004 and 2006-2014. Buttweiler also worked at WDAY twice, once in 2005 and then again from 2014-17. She also spent two years at CBS Radio News/Talk WCCO-AM Minneapolis from 1990-91.
With Buttweiler's exit, WDAY expands PD Mike Kapel's "AM Fargo-Moorhead" a half-hour to 7:30-9am. Mike McFeely moves from 8:30-11am to 9am-noon and Rob Port expands to noon-2pm. Jay Thomas remains in the 2-5pm slot.
