KXT Expands Local Lineup, Adds Weekly Features

North Texas Public Broadcasting's AAA KKXT-FM Dallas debut a new weekly lineup, effective October 2. The new schedule will feature four new weekday shows including "Mornings on KXT," hosted by Brad Dolbeer (5-10am), "What's New with Gini Mascorro" on Mondays from 7-8pm, "The Local Show" with Program Director Amy Miller (pictured) on Thursdays from 7-8pm and "Afternoons with Dave Emmert" from 2-7pm.

With the launch of this new programming, KXT also has declared October to be Local Music Month. Throughout the month, KXT is celebrating by airing more local songs and hosting local music showcases in Dallas, Fort Worth and Denton, beginning with Texas Music Trivia Night, hosted by Amy Miller and Paul Slavens, on Friday, October 13.
