Freddy Rivera joins Hot AC KDMX-FM (102.9 Now) Dallas as its new afternoon drive host, weekdays from 2-7pm, effective February 5. Rivera comes to 102.9 Now from KIIS-FM Los Angeles where he hosted late nights for the past four years. Born in Los Angeles and raised in the Inland Empire, he started his radio broadcasting career as an intern for Rick Dees. His first chance as a radio air personality began at KGGI Riverside.

"Freddy is an outstanding on-air talent and we are very fortunate to add him to our line up," said 102.9 Now Program Director Jay Shannon. "Freddy is very much looking forward to calling DFW his home."

"I am very excited to write the next chapter in my radio career with 102.9 Now in Dallas/Fort Worth," added Rivera. "I have heard so much about the food, nightlife and community. I can't wait to jump right in."
