Heritage Hot AC WDVD-FM Detroit inks Lauren Crocker to a multi-year contract extension as co-host of the long-running "The Blaine Fowler Morning Show," a position she has held since 2015. Prior to WDVD, Crocker was midday talent at Cumulus Media co-owned WDRQ-FM and morning co-host at WFAS-FM New York. She has also worked as a Music Director in the Monmouth-Ocean, NJ, market.
Cumulus Media/Detroit Director of FM Programming Robby Bridges said, "It sounds cliche, but it is the absolute truth -- when Lauren first walked in and interviewed with me seven years ago, I knew then she was going to be a superstar. To see her flourish as co-host of "The Blaine Fowler Morning Show" alongside Blaine and Matty, become a fixture in the Detroit market, work with local charities and appear on "Dish Nation" and WDIV-TV's "Live in the D" is just terrific. Lauren's star is still on the rise and I'm so glad she'll be with us at Cumulus into the next decade."
Crocker added, "My time at 96.3 WDVD/Cumulus-Detroit has been an absolute thrill. I used to dream about the opportunities that now lie in front of me. I am grateful I can continue to and work hard with an amazing team and wake up every morning with the awesome people of Detroit. Thank you, Jim Robinson, for your constant support. Thank you, Robby Bridges, Mike Wheeler and Mike McVay for your guidance and for this incredible opportunity."
