Former Mid-West Family Broadcasting Rhythmic CHR WJQM-FM (93.1 Jamz) Madison, WI, Assistant PD and night talent Brian Holmes heads to Up North Radio's Classic Hits WBZX-FM (B103.9) Big Rapids, MI, for afternoons starting in early April. Holmes is best known for his ten-year run as APD/nights at WSNX-FM in nearby Grand Rapids from 2005-2015. He'll also serve as an account exec for WBZX and co-owned Classic Rock WCKC-FM (107.1 The Drive) and CHR WCDY-FM (107.9 CDY).

This marks a reunion of sorts for Holmes and Up North's Dom Theodore as they worked together at CHR WFLZ/Tampa and also at CHR WILN & Rock WYYX/Panama City in the late 90's.

"Over 20 years ago, Dom talked of his dreams of owning his own stations. Watching him and General Manager Jen Theodore build their dream has been incredible," said Holmes. "They have built three incredible sounding radio stations and even better, a live and local staff that feels just like family. I am honored to come on board and be a part of it all playin the 80s and More on B103.9."

"Brian is the rare combination of talent and true passion for great radio, and after 20-plus years of friendship and lots of great history, I'm thrilled that we get to reunite at our very own company," said Up North Radio co-owner Dom Theodore, "This is going to be some of the most fun we've had in years."

Up North Radio General Manager Jen Theodore commented, "Brian is a high impact personality who will be a great addition to the Up North Radio family. He understands the creative culture and commitment to true local radio that we are building here, and I'm thrilled that he's teaming up with us."
