WHPT-FM (102.5 The Bone) Tampa inks a multi-year contract extension with air talent Mike Calta. He'll continue as host of "The Mike Calta Show," weekdays from 6-10am. Originally from Staten Island, NY, Calta transplanted to the Tampa market in 1989 and joined 102.5 The Bone family in 2007. Prior to that, he was morning producer on crosstown WXTB-FM.

"I'm excited to call both Tampa Bay and CMG my home and my family for the next couple of years and hopefully plenty more beyond that," said Calta. "This is where The Mike Calta Show was born and we are excited to watch it continue to grow."

"Mike Calta leads the most entertaining weekday talk show in Tampa Bay. We are excited that The Mike Calta Show will continue to call 102.5 The Bone home for many years to come," added CMG Tampa Director of Branding and Programming John Brennan.
