Greg Koch to Retire from KBME (SportsTalk 790)/Houston

Greg Koch has announced his retirement as midday co-host (10am-noon) at iHeartMedia's Sports KBME-AM (Sportstalk 790)/Houston. The "In The Trenches" co-host and former Green Bay Packers tackle/guard told listeners on Monday's show that he'll exit after Friday's program to concentrate on his health. He's been suffering from Parkinson's disease for several years. Koch had been hosting the show with with co-host N.D. Kalu since 2012.
"This will be my last week doing In The Trenches... time to concentrate on my health. Thank everyone who made this such a joy to do as the week rolls on," Koch worte on Twitter.
