Country radio personality Matt Malone is upped to morning co-host at WFMS-FM in Indianapolis joining longtime co-hosts Deb Honeycutt and Kevin Freeman. The newly named "Indy's Morning Show with Deb, Kevin & Matt," debuted Tuesday morning and airs weekdays from 6-10am. In addition, Malone adds Assistant Program Director stripes for the station. He moves to mornings from his previous role as afternoon host on WFMS replacing Country Hall of Famer Jim Denny, who retired from radio at year end after 35 years with WFMS.

Cumulus Indianapolis Vice President/Market Manager Darlene Park said, "Our goal is to put together an authentic, caring, funny morning show that will entertain and engage the incredible listeners of WFMS. Adding Matt to the legendary lineup with Deb and Kevin checks all the boxes and we are very excited for this next chapter."

Operations Manager Mike Killabrew noted, "Deb, Kevin and Matt's tremendous chemistry carves out a new path and companionship for morning drive in Indianapolis."

Malone commented, "It is an honor to be on legendary WFMS with Deb and Kevin. The chemistry we naturally have as friends will translate tenfold with listeners. I am a fan of theirs as people, first and foremost, and could not ask for better partners heading into this exciting new adventure."

Honeycutt added, "I'm thrilled to kick off the new show and knew Matt would fit right in when he gifted Kevin expired concert tickets for his birthday! Matt's amazing work ethic and passion for connecting with our listeners is magical. Let the fun begin."

Freeman remarked, "I am so excited to be working with Matt. Jim was like the big brother I never had, and Matt is like the little brother I always wanted. Stay tuned for a fun show."
