Former WCBS Anchor Michael Wallace Joins CBS News Radio

Michael Wallace, former anchor at WCBS 880 in New York has announced his new role at CBS News Radio following the station's closure earlier this year under its parent company Audacy. Wallace's career spans nearly two decades at WCBS 880, with additional experience at The Wall Street Journal, WDBO in Orlando and KTRH in Houston.
"Thrilled to announce I have joined the CBS News Radio Network as an anchor," Wallace shared on social media. He expressed gratitude to those who supported him during the transition after WCBS 880 ceased operations three months ago, adding, "Talk to you soon on one of more than 400 affiliates."
While celebrating his new position, Wallace took a moment to advocate for his former colleagues from WCBS 880, many of whom are still seeking new opportunities. "If you're hiring, please remember my former 880 co-workers who are multi-talented and thrive under tight deadlines," he wrote.
