After a 14-year tenure at crosstown KMVQ (99.7 Now), DJ E-Rock is returning to his roots at KYLD (Wild 94.9) in San Francisco, where he began his career. Starting Friday, January 10, he will host a new version of his show, "Radio Bassment," entitled "Radio Bassment Top 40 | Club Edition," from 11pm to 1am every Friday night.

DJ E-Rock expressed excitement about his return, stating, "It's a full-circle moment to come back to where it all really started for me. Teaming up with such a legendary brand like Wild 94.9 to create a great on-air experience in San Francisco is uncanny. I look forward to engaging with my hometown audience weekly."

Wild 94.9 Program Director Dan Hunt commented on the addition, "Having DJ E-Rock back on Wild 94.9 is a huge win for the station and the Bay Area. He's a true icon in the local music scene, and his ability to connect with listeners is unmatched. 'Radio Bassment Top 40 | Club Edition' will bring a fresh energy to Friday nights, and we're thrilled to welcome him back to the Wild 94.9 family."

"Radio Bassment" has already made its mark in the hip-hop community with broadcasts in other major cities and aims to expand its reach with this new Top 40 format, set to be offered to stations nationwide starting in early 2025.

Superadio President Eric Faison added, "E-Rock and the Radio Bassment team keep raising the bar for what a great mix show is all about. The Top 40 world is more than ready for a mix show with that E-Rock Bassment flavor and I can't think of a better brand to kick it off with than Wild 94.9."
