Audacy is preparing to take "The Bret Mega Show" to a national stage, with plans to syndicate the program across multiple stations in markets yet to be announced. Currently based at Hot AC KYKY-FM (Y98) in St. Louis, the show is also airing in afternoons on Hot AC KZPT-FM (99.7 The Point) in Kansas City and KFBZ-FM (105.3 The Buzz) in Wichita. As part of the upcoming syndication move, the show will shift from afternoons to a morning slot.
In Kansas City, the move comes after the departure of former morning show hosts Ponch & Nikki, who exited during Audacy's company-wide layoffs in March.
The show teased the expansion on Instagram, writing, "Our listener family is growing bigger than ever... all across the nation. City announcements dropping soon."
