101.1 WCBS-FM in New York has announced a new weekday on-air lineup beginning June 16, headlined by veteran New York air talent Race Taylor taking over the morning drive from 6-10am ET. Taylor, known for his two-decade run on WPLJ and voice work across national TV and radio, brings his signature style and deep local ties to one of the city's most iconic radio dayparts.

"One of the most recognizable voices on the radio in New York, Race brings an unparalleled legacy and deep-rooted connection with tri-state listeners spanning multiple generations to 101.1 CBS-FM," said John Foxx, Brand Manager of WCBS-FM. "His love for this city, passion for the music and unstoppable ability to entertain are set to ignite mornings."

Taylor expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am well aware of the legendary talent who've previously occupied this daypart in New York City. They are the very foundation of the WCBS-FM legacy and brand. I hope to perform to their level of entertainment and excellence for years to come."

Following Taylor, Jesse Addy will move to middays from 10am-3pm ET. Addy, who joined WCBS-FM in 2024 after hosting on New York's Country 94.7 and Miami's WKIS (Kiss Country 99.9), continues to serve as the station's Music Director.

"The city that shapes world economics, entertainment, pop culture and fashion every workday also never stops listening to WCBS-FM," Addy said. "It's the soundtrack of New York."

John Foxx, who has served as morning host and Brand Manager since 2023, will shift to afternoons from 3-7pm. Foxx, a native New Yorker, brings more than 25 years of experience, including prior roles at WPLJ and WNSH-FM.

Broadway Bill Lee remains in his evening slot, hosting from 7pm-midnight.
