Don Howe is named Senior VP/Market Manager of CBS Radio's clusters in Tampa and Orlando, effective April 1. He replaces Ed Krampf who was named Senior VP/Market Manager for CBS Radio/Los Angeles last week. Howe most recently served in similar duties at the company's formerly co-owned group in Denver overseeing KIMN-FM, KWLI-FM and KXKL-FM from 2005-2008.
"During his tenure in Denver Don proved to be a very innovative leader in new sales strategies expanding event and non-spot revenue and embracing digital in a big way," said Executive VP/Operations Scott Herman. "He is a talented and energetic manager with a great pedigree and we are thrilled to have him back working day to day with many of our stations in Florida."
Prior to joining CBS Radio, Howe held several positions for Clear Channel, including President of Clear Channel Advantage for two years, Senior VP/West Coast where he managed staffs in nearly 20 markets, and General Manager for CC's stations in Denver.
